Colorado Symphony Orchestra takes on Vivaldi's Four Seasons in Max Richter's recomposed version, which strips the familiar concerto down and rebuilds it with a modern, electronic-tinged pulse running underneath the strings. Mozart's Symphony No. 25 rounds out the program, a taut, minor-key work he wrote as a teenager.
It all happens at Boettcher Hall in Denver, home turf for the orchestra and built for exactly this kind of acoustic detail.
