Colorado Symphony Orchestra takes on two Beethoven staples at Boettcher Hall, with Peter Oundjian conducting and Jeffrey Kahane at the piano for the Emperor Concerto. Pair that with the Fifth Symphony and its famous four note opening, and you get a program built around some of the most recognizable orchestral writing there is.

Kahane brings decades of experience as both pianist and conductor, so the concerto should feel shaped from the keyboard out. Expect a night of big, familiar Beethoven played by a full orchestra in Denver's home for classical music.
