Built To Spill headlines the Boulder Theater with Paul Schalda opening. Doug Martsch and company have been writing sprawling, guitar heavy indie rock since the 90s, the kind of songs that stretch out and wander before finding their way back to a hook. Expect a set built on melody and volume in equal measure.
This is an all ages show, so anyone under 16 needs an adult with them. Good one to bring a teenager who's ready for their first loud room.
