Automatic is a Los Angeles trio built on the interplay of bass, synth, and drums, running post-punk through a cold, motorik pulse. Their sound leans on repetition and restraint rather than guitar hooks, which puts them somewhere between egg punk's wiry energy and dreampop's haze. They have built a following well past 90,000 on Spotify without straying from that stripped down formula.

They have Colorado dates coming up at Meow Wolf Denver's Convergence Station, a fitting pairing for a band whose music already feels like it belongs in a room full of strange light.
