Umphrey's McGee brings its usual mix of improvisation and heavy composition to the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue. The band built its following on long, unpredictable jams that pull from rock, metal, and electronic textures, and they rarely play a song the same way twice.
The Mishawaka's riverside setting along the Poudre Canyon makes it one of the more scenic stops on their tour route, a good match for a band that likes to stretch out and see where the night takes them.
