John Lydon leads Public Image Ltd back through the sound he invented after the Sex Pistols, jagged post-punk built on dub bass lines and abrasive guitar. He's still confrontational, still funny, still not interested in nostalgia even as the band plays songs that shaped the genre.
Gothic Theatre in Englewood hosts this one, a fitting size for a band that never needed arenas to make its point.
