Christone "Kingfish" Ingram brings his guitar to the Bluebird Theater in Denver. He came up out of Clarksdale, Mississippi and plays blues with a modern edge, heavy on tone and technique, drawing comparisons to Buddy Guy for good reason. Expect long solos and a band built around his playing.
This is straightforward blues rock, loud and unhurried where it needs to be. If you like guitar-driven blues with some grit and showmanship, this fits.
