Christone "Kingfish" Ingram is a blues guitarist and singer out of Clarksdale, Mississippi, and one of the strongest voices in modern blues right now. He plays with a heavy, electric tone that nods to the old Delta masters while pushing into rock territory, and his singing carries the same weight as his guitar work. He has picked up wide acclaim for both his playing and his songwriting, still young but already carrying the tradition forward.
