Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue

Trombone Shorty is Troy Andrews, the New Orleans trombonist and trumpeter who grew up steeped in that city's brass band tradition and turned it into something built for bigger stages. With his band Orleans Avenue, he mixes funk, rock, and jazz into a horn driven sound he calls supafunkrock, and he plays with the kind of stamina and showmanship that made him a fixture on the festival circuit, including regular appearances at Jazz Fest.

He and Orleans Avenue have upcoming shows at Gerald R Ford Amphitheater in Colorado.
