Thee Sacred Souls
Thee Sacred Souls play warm, vintage-leaning soul music, the kind of sound that draws easy comparisons to classic Daptone and Stax records. The San Diego trio built a devoted following on tight arrangements, soft grooves, and a singer who sounds like he stepped out of a 1960s ballad. Their self-titled debut turned heads well beyond the soul revival scene, and they have kept building from there.
They have Colorado dates coming up at Junkyard and Dillon Amphitheater, two very different rooms that should each suit this band's sound in their own way.
