JUNKYARD

JUNKYARD is an open-air outdoor concert venue located at 2323 W. Mulberry Place in Denver’s Sun Valley neighborhood, just west of I-25 and minutes from downtown. Carved out of a former auto salvage yard, the site delivers on its industrial roots — a raw, wide-open event ground that trades polish for atmosphere. Operated by Live Nation, JUNKYARD has quickly established itself as one of the Mile High City’s most versatile outdoor stages, hosting everything from hip-hop and electronic music to rock and pop across a season that runs spring through fall.

The venue launched in 2022 when Meow Wolf and Live Nation selected the newly developed grounds at 2323 W. Mulberry as the site for Meow Wolf’s Vortex Music Festival — a three-day event featuring Toro y Moi, 100 gecs, Bob Moses, Maya Jane Coles, and a deep roster of local Denver artists. That debut put JUNKYARD on the map as a destination for large-scale outdoor events with an unconventional edge. Since then, Live Nation has programmed the venue as a core part of Denver’s summer concert calendar, bringing in artists across genres and scales that fit its open-format, general admission character.

The grounds are fully standing/general admission, giving the space a festival-floor energy regardless of the event. The industrial surroundings — inherited from the site’s prior life as Stadium Auto Parts — lend JUNKYARD a gritty authenticity that separates it from purpose-built concert halls. Notable artists who have performed here include Falling In Reverse, Dance Gavin Dance, Black Veil Brides, Tech N9ne, Diplo, Armin van Buuren, Gorgon City, Nas & The Roots, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, 5 Seconds of Summer, Sara Landry, Bone Thugs–N–Harmony, and Hardwell.
