Nick Shoulders

Nick Shoulders plays old time country music with a yodel that sets him apart from just about anyone working today. He comes out of the Arkansas string band tradition, but his songwriting leans into sharp commentary on land, class, and the myths this country tells about itself. It is honky tonk music with teeth.

He has built a real following, nearly 100,000 on Spotify, without much use for Nashville's version of country. Coming up he plays Mishawaka Amphitheatre and Boulder Theater, two very different rooms that both suit what he does.
