Killswitch Engage

Killswitch Engage helped build metalcore into a genre with actual staying power. Since the late nineties they have paired heavy, chugging riffs with the genre's signature move, verses that growl and choruses that soar on clean vocals. Songs like "My Curse" and "The End of Heartache" became genre standards, and the band has kept releasing and touring through multiple lineup changes without losing the sound that made them a reference point for the whole scene.
