Jerry Douglas

Jerry Douglas is the reason the dobro gets taken seriously outside of bluegrass circles. He has spent decades as the instrument's most in-demand voice, working sessions and stages with everyone from Alison Krauss to Paul Simon, and leading his own bands through bluegrass, newgrass, and whatever else he feels like bending the steel toward. His playing is fluid and instantly recognizable, more like a pedal steel player's phrasing than what most people expect from a resonator guitar.

He has Colorado dates coming up, with stops at venues around Vail and Loveland.
