Grieves is a Seattle-rooted underground hip hop artist known for his introspective, often melancholic songwriting and gravelly delivery. He built a following through Rhymesayers Entertainment, the Minneapolis label home to fellow indie rap acts, and has spent years touring behind that DIY hip hop ethic rather than chasing radio play.

He has upcoming dates in Colorado at Black Sheep, a good chance to catch an artist who has been putting out honest, personal rap for a long time now.
