Greensky Bluegrass

Greensky Bluegrass takes traditional bluegrass instrumentation, dobro, mandolin, banjo, guitar, upright bass, and pushes it into jam band territory, stretching songs out and improvising the way a rock band might rather than sticking to bluegrass tradition. That mix has built them a serious following well beyond the usual acoustic music crowd.
