Eslabon Armado helped push sierreño into the mainstream, blending traditional Mexican regional sounds with a moodier, romantic edge that fans have tagged sad sierreño. Their breakout collaboration with Peso Pluma, "Ella Baila Sola," became a genre-crossing hit and helped bring corridos tumbados to a much wider audience. With nearly 6.75 million followers on Spotify, they remain one of the bigger names in the current música mexicana wave.
