Eagles of Death Metal

Eagles of Death Metal is the project of Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, built on a loose, party-first take on garage and stoner rock despite the name promising something heavier. The band leans into raw riffs and swagger, with Hughes usually out front as the showman and Homme's fingerprints on the sound from his Queens of the Stone Age days. They gained wider attention after the 2015 Bataclan attack in Paris, which happened during one of their shows, and their response since then has become part of how people talk about the band.

They have a Colorado date coming up at Summit Music Hall.
