Black Flag

Black Flag helped build American hardcore punk from the ground up. Formed in the late 1970s in California, the band pushed faster, harsher, and more aggressive than the punk that came before it, and Henry Rollins' years fronting the group turned them into a reference point for everything heavy and DIY that followed. Songs like "Rise Above" and "TV Party" still get shouted back at shows decades later.

The band has Colorado dates coming up at Belly Up Aspen and Sunshine Studios.
