2 Chainz is a College Park, Georgia rapper who broke through as half of the duo Playaz Circle before going solo, building a reputation on deadpan punchlines and a deep catalog of guest verses. Albums like "Based on a T.R.U. Story" and hits such as "No Lie" and "I'm Different" helped make him one of southern hip hop's most recognizable voices, known as much for his humor as his bars.
