Yonder Mountain String Band brings its mix of bluegrass and jam band energy to the Arvada Center. Expect long instrumental stretches built from banjo, mandolin, and guitar, the kind of newgrass that started acoustic and learned to stretch out live.
The band has been at this a long time, and their shows tend to wander into extended jams rather than stick close to the studio versions. Good pick if you like your bluegrass loose around the edges.
