The Fixx bring their new wave catalog to the Ogden Theatre, songs built on moody synth lines and that clipped, urgent guitar sound that defined the early 80s. "One Thing Leads to Another" and "Saved by Zero" are the ones casual fans will know, but the band has kept touring and recording well past their MTV peak.
Expect a set heavy on atmosphere, synthpop hooks wrapped around darker, more brooding lyrics than the genre usually gets credit for.
