Three acts from the same new wave era share the bill at Fiddler's Green this time. Squeeze headline with their sharp, hook-heavy pop songwriting, the kind that turned "Tempted" and "Black Coffee in Bed" into staples. Adam Ant brings his glammed-up post-punk swagger, and Haircut 100 add their brighter, funk-inflected pop sound to the mix.
It's a night built around melody and nostalgia, three British acts who each had their own distinct take on the sound of that period. Good one for anyone who grew up on early MTV or new wave radio.
