Marcus King brings his guitar and that big southern rock voice to Mission Ballroom, backed by his band and steeped in blues and jam band tradition. Expect long, soulful solos and songs that lean on southern rock grit as much as classic blues phrasing. Penelope Road opens.
This is an all ages show, though anyone under 16 needs an adult with them. King has built a reputation on raw guitar work and a voice that carries real weight, and Mission Ballroom gives that sound plenty of room to stretch out.
