Hammerfall brings the kind of chest-out, chorus-heavy power metal they have built a career on, all battle anthems and twin guitar harmonies. Evergrey shares the bill with a darker, more progressive edge, heavy riffs woven through melody and mood.
Both bands come out of Sweden with decades of records behind them, so expect a night built on songcraft rather than spectacle. The Federal Theatre in Denver hosts.
