Zoh Amba
Zoh Amba is a saxophonist and flutist working in free jazz, playing with a rawness and spiritual intensity that draws comparisons to Albert Ayler and Pharoah Sanders. She emerged in the early 2020s, releasing music on labels like Tzadik and Northern Spy, and has built a following through collaborations with veteran improvisers as well as her own working groups.
She has a Colorado date coming up at Mission Ballroom.
