Yung Bae makes disco and funk music built for dancing, pulling heavily from Japanese city pop and filtering it through a modern, nu disco sheen. His sound leans bright and nostalgic, all basslines and vocal chops, and it has built him a following well past 200,000 on Spotify alone.
