Y La Bamba

Y La Bamba is the project of Luz Elena Mendoza Ramos, blending Latin folk and indie influences into songwriting that draws heavily on identity, family, and heritage. Over a run of albums the band has built a following that crosses genre lines, landing somewhere between indie rock and Latin alternative without settling fully into either.

The group has Colorado dates coming up at Mission Ballroom in Denver, a good chance to catch a songwriter with a distinct voice and a devoted fanbase behind her.
