Wavves

Wavves is the project of Nathan Williams, built on fuzzed out surf rock and lo-fi garage punk that made noise back in the blog era with records like "King of the Beach." The sound mixes sunny hooks with distortion and a slacker snarl, closer to Southern California skate culture than anything polished. It has held up as a touchstone for the noise rock and indie punk crowd since.
