Watchhouse

Watchhouse is the project of Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz, who spent years recording as Mandolin Orange before renaming the band. Their sound draws from folk and bluegrass but doesn't sit still inside either, with Marlin's fingerpicked guitar and mandolin work wrapped around close, intertwined harmonies. It's quiet, patient songwriting that rewards paying attention.

They've got a date coming up at Dillon Amphitheater, a good setting for the kind of hushed, detailed songs this duo builds.
