Towa Bird is a British-Filipino guitarist and singer who broke through with sharp, riff-driven rock songs and a run of viral guitar clips online. Her debut album "American Hero" showcases her range as a player, moving between arena-sized hooks and looser, funk-inflected grooves. She has also logged time as a touring guitarist for Boygenius and Girl in Red, which shows in how tightly her band plays live.
