Tommy Tutone

Tommy Tutone is a rock band best known for the 1981 hit "867-5309/Jenny," a song that turned a phone number into pop culture shorthand and still gets shouted along at bar jukeboxes and classic rock stations. The band, led by singer and guitarist Tommy Heath, came out of the same power pop and new wave scene that fueled a lot of early 80s rock radio.

They have a Colorado date coming up at Mission Ballroom, a chance to hear that riff live along with whatever else they pull from their catalog.
