Marcus King came up out of South Carolina blues rock and built a reputation as one of the most talented guitarists of his generation, mixing soul, blues, and southern rock into something loose and hard hitting live. Whether fronting the full band or working under his own name, he plays with a fluency that draws comparisons to guitarists twice his age.
