The Infamous Stringdusters
The Infamous Stringdusters play progressive bluegrass built for stretching out. They pair traditional string band instrumentation, guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass and dobro, with the improvisational reach of a jam band, which has made them festival and jam scene regulars for years. Their sound draws on americana and newgrass as much as classic bluegrass, and they've built a following well past the genre's usual audience.
They've got Colorado dates on the books at Mishawaka Amphitheatre and Denver Botanic Gardens, two of the state's better settings for a band that thrives on room to improvise.
