The Black Angels
The Black Angels have been a pillar of modern psychedelic rock since forming in Austin in 2004, taking their name from a Velvet Underground song and building a sound around droning guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and heavy reverb. Albums like "Passover" and "Directions to See a Ghost" helped anchor the psych rock revival of the 2000s, and the band has kept touring and recording steadily since.
They bring that dark, immersive wall of sound to Colorado with stops at Gothic Theatre and Belly Up Aspen.
US psychedelic rock band since 2004
