Tank and the Bangas

Tank and the Bangas built their name winning NPR's Tiny Desk Contest in 2017, and they've been stacking genres ever since, moving through funk, soul, spoken word, and hip hop often within the same song. Tarriona "Tank" Ball fronts the group with a voice and a stage presence that swings from sung to spoken without warning, backed by a band that treats arrangement like a playground.
