Tame Impala is the project of Kevin Parker, the Australian musician who built a psychedelic pop sound out of layered synths, thick basslines, and his own multitracked vocals. Albums like Lonerism and Currents turned bedroom production into festival headlining sets, and songs like "The Less I Know the Better" and "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" have crossed well past the indie world into mainstream radio and playlists.
