Show Me the Body

Show Me the Body is a New York band built around banjo, bass, and blown out vocals, a combination that put them at the center of a heavier, more experimental corner of hardcore. They came up through the same DIY scene that produced acts like Show Me the Body's frequent collaborators in Backxwash and Nine Inch Nails' orbit, and their records lean into noise and dread as much as riffs.

They have shows coming up at Gothic Theatre, a good chance to catch a band that treats hardcore as raw material rather than a fixed formula.
