Saves The Day

Saves The Day came up in the late 90s as one of the bands that helped shape emo and pop punk before either genre had much of a name. Chris Conley's voice and the raw, melodic songwriting on records like Through Being Cool and Stay What You Are became a blueprint that a lot of bands in that scene borrowed from directly.

They still play with the same urgency that made them a touchstone act, and Colorado fans get a chance to catch that at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
