Passion Pit

Passion Pit built its name on bright, anxious synth pop, the kind that pairs falsetto hooks with lyrics about panic and burnout. Michael Angelakos started the project as a bedroom recording, and it grew into a full band sound that defined a certain strain of blog era indie electronic music, "Sleepyhead" and "Little Secrets" chief among the songs that got it there.

They have Colorado dates coming up at the Ogden Theatre and at the base of Buttermilk Mountain, two very different rooms for the same sugar rush of synths.
