Nathaniel Rateliff with The Colorado Symphony

Nathaniel Rateliff made his name fronting the Night Sweats, the horn-driven soul and rock outfit behind "S.O.B." and a string of records that pull from old Stax and Muscle Shoals records as much as anything on modern radio. He built his career out of Denver, and Colorado has claimed him as one of its own for years.

Here he trades the full band setup for something bigger, joining the Colorado Symphony for a show at Red Rocks. Expect his gravelly voice and worn-in songwriting reworked with an orchestra behind it, a different frame around familiar songs.
