Marcos Valle

Marcos Valle is a Brazilian songwriter and singer who came up in the bossa nova scene of the 1960s and kept moving with the times, drifting through samba, MPB, and disco-tinged grooves over the decades. His songs have been sampled and covered widely, and his catalog remains a touchstone for Brazilian jazz. He is still writing and performing, blending that classic bossa nova warmth with newer sounds.

He has an upcoming date at the Bluebird Theatre in Denver.
