Macklemore

Macklemore is a Seattle rapper who broke through with "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us," self-released hits that made him one of the few independent artists to top the charts without a major label push. He followed with "Same Love," a same-sex marriage anthem that turned him into a political figure as much as a pop one. His records mix comedy, confessional songwriting about addiction and recovery, and big radio hooks.

He has a show coming up at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a stage well suited to his high energy live sets and singalong choruses.
