Little Feat
Little Feat came out of the early 1970s blending New Orleans funk, blues, and rock into something loose and greasy that jam bands have chased ever since. Lowell George's slide guitar and songwriting gave early records like "Dixie Chicken" their swagger, and the band kept building a catalog built for stretching out live even after his death in 1979.
They still tour steadily, mixing that deep catalog with newer material, and Colorado audiences get several chances to catch them, with dates set at Vilar Performing Arts Center, Strings Music Pavilion, I Bar Ranch, and Pikes Peak Center.
