La Santa Cecilia
La Santa Cecilia is a Los Angeles band built around singer La Marisoul's voice, blending bolero, cumbia, rock, and jazz into something that sits comfortably under the latin alternative umbrella. They've built a following of a quarter million on Spotify alone, drawing on Mexican and Latin American musical traditions while singing openly about immigration and identity. Their sound can turn tender and bolero-soaked one moment, then swing into something loose and rhythmic the next.
