Kim Gordon

Kim Gordon co-founded Sonic Youth and spent decades helping define noise rock and the broader American underground, working with feedback, tuning, and texture as much as songwriting in the traditional sense. Since Sonic Youth ended, she has kept moving, releasing solo material that leans into distortion, spoken word, and abrasive guitar work rather than anything comfortable.

She has a Colorado date coming up at the Ogden Theatre, a chance to catch a genuine art rock veteran still pushing into strange territory instead of coasting on the back catalog.
