Judy Collins
Judy Collins is a folk icon whose voice helped define the genre in the 1960s, from her early interpretations of Joan Baez and Bob Dylan songs to her own hit version of "Both Sides Now," written by Joni Mitchell. She also gave the world "Send in the Clowns," a Stephen Sondheim song she made her own and carried into the pop charts. Her career spans decades of songwriting, activism, and collaboration with some of folk music's most important names.
She has a Colorado date coming up at Denver Botanic Gardens, a setting well suited to her songbook of ballads and standards.
