JPEGMAFIA makes hip hop that pulls apart genre on purpose, mixing noise, distorted samples, and sharp production into songs that rarely sit still. His records, including Veteran and All My Heroes Are Cornballs, built a reputation for confrontational lyrics and a sound that owes as much to noise and punk as it does to rap. He's also worked alongside Danny Brown as part of the duo Scaring the Hoes.
