J. Robbins

J. Robbins built his reputation in the DC punk and post-hardcore scene, fronting Jawbox in the 90s before moving on to Burning Airlines and Channels. His guitar work and vocal delivery helped define a strain of smart, muscular indie rock that a lot of bands since have tried to copy. He has also spent years behind the boards as a producer, shaping records for other bands in that same underground tradition.

He has a Colorado date coming up at Mission Ballroom.
