Hot Water Music

Hot Water Music has been a mainstay of melodic hardcore and post-hardcore since the 1990s, known for gruff dual vocals and songs that split the difference between punk aggression and real melody. They came up alongside the Gainesville scene and helped define what a lot of people mean when they talk about emotional, blue collar hardcore.

They have a show coming up at the Ogden Theatre. Worth catching for anyone who grew up on their records or wants to hear where a big chunk of modern post-hardcore learned to shout along.
